Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Freight Force Transportation Ltd. ("Freight Force", "we", "us", "our"), a company based in Surrey, BC, Canada. By requesting freight services, creating a customer account, or using an authorized internal FreightForce account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Freight Force provides same-day and scheduled freight pickup and delivery services within Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. The FreightForce web app includes a customer portal for order requests, shipment status, invoices and POD records, plus separate internal tools used by authorized staff and drivers. Customers may create an account, but an account or submitted request does not by itself confirm a booking.
Service availability is subject to capacity, operating hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), geographic coverage, and load requirements. We do not guarantee service outside our stated operating area or hours.
2. Quotes and Confirmations
Quote requests submitted through our website or by phone are not binding on either party. A freight job is confirmed only when a Freight Force dispatcher explicitly confirms the pickup in writing or by phone, including agreed pricing and timing. We reserve the right to decline a job at any time before confirmation.
Prices are quoted per run. The confirmed price is the price you pay - we do not add undisclosed fees after confirmation. Changes to the load, route, or service level after confirmation may result in a revised price, which will be communicated before the job proceeds.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, contact information, and load descriptions.
- Ensure the freight is properly packaged and ready for pickup at the agreed time.
- Ensure a responsible person is available at the drop-off location to accept the delivery.
- Notify dispatch of any hazardous materials, oversized loads, or special handling requirements before booking. We may decline loads we are not equipped to handle safely.
- Pay invoices within the agreed payment terms.
4. Application Accounts and Authorized Users
Customers may create a customer account using email or Google sign-in. New self-service customer accounts require payment before service until Freight Force approves credit terms; dispatch will confirm pricing and arrange payment before booking. Staff and driver access remains invitation-only. All users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and for all activity conducted under their account, and must notify us immediately at Accounting@freightforcetransport.com of any suspected unauthorized access.
Authorized users may only use the application for lawful business purposes related to Freight Force's freight operations, and may not share account access with unauthorized individuals. Internal pricing, rates, financial records, and other customers' information are confidential and are never accessible to customers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading information in any quote request, order, or account registration.
- Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt any part of our systems or infrastructure.
- Use the Services in connection with any unlawful activity, including the transport of prohibited or dangerous goods without proper disclosure and authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the FreightForce application.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Freight Force's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, or third-party service outages.
7. Intellectual Property
The FreightForce application, website content, and brand materials are owned by Freight Force Transportation Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license to reproduce or distribute our intellectual property.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered application users.
